Text Box: 1960-1970 - Boris studies and practices arts with the painter Semion Gelberg, and continues to do so later on in the Academy of Arts in Riga.

In 1970 Boris was imprisoned due to Zionist activity (the hijack affair and the attempt to escape soviet Russia) and was sentenced to 10 years in the prison camps of Mordovia.

In 1979, 9 years later, Boris was released from prison. He came to Israel and continued to practice the arts - drawings, paintings. and artistic graphics.
He also participated in several solo exhibitions and group exhibitions.

In 1986 Boris received a scholarship from the ministry of culture and education of Israel in the center of international arts in Paris, and stayed there for a year.
While there, he participated in several exhibitions in Paris and a few other cities.

In 1991 Boris moved with his wife and two sons into an agriculture settlement in the center of Israel (which suited his artistic life), and built a studio where he draws, paints, and teaches the arts.
Text Box: 1960-1960 - למד ועסק באמנות אצל הצייר סמיון גלברג ומאוחר יותר באקדמיה לאמנות בריגה.

ב-1970 נאסר בגין פעילות ציונית וניסיון בריחה מרוסיה הסובייטית (משפט חטיפת מטוס) ונשפט ל-10 שנות מאסר במחנות הכלא מורדוביה.

ב-1979 שוחרר אחרי 9 שנים, עלה לישראל והמשיך לעסוק באמנות - ציור, וגרפיקה אמנותית.
השתתף במספר תערוכות יחיד ותערוכות קבוצתיות.

ב-1986 - נסע לפריז בעקבות מלגה שקיבל ממשרד החינוך והתרבות למרכז האמנויות הבינלאומי לתקופה של שנה, ושם השתתף במספר תערוכות בפריז וערים שונות בצרפת.

ב-1991 - עבר להתגורר במושב ציורי במרכז ישראל שהתאים לאופן חייו האומנותיים, ובנה סטודיו שבו ממשיך בוריס לצייר, לשרטט, וללמד אמנות.
